Twelfth Night

In 2012 we will be performing Twelfth Night:

  • Wednesday 23rd to Saturday 26th May
  • Wednesday 30th May to Saturday 2nd June

Children Under 14 Auditions: 26 February 2012

This year's S@T production is “Twelfth Night”, and children under the age of 14 are invited to come to an audition on 26th February from 2:30pm until 4:30pm at the Eastgate Studio in Peebles for children's parts in the play. “Twelfth Night” is one of Shakespeare's Festive Comedies, and is one of his best-loved plays.

This year's production is part of the RSC Open Stages programme which will introduce a few changes from our usual production process:

  • The production run will be a week or two earlier than usual, from Wednesday 23rd May to Sunday 27th, and Thursday 31st May to Saturday 2nd June.
  • The production will form part of the Traquair Shakespeare Festival in the middle week-end on Saturday 26th May and Sunday 27th May. The Festival will transport you back to Shakespearean times to enjoy jousting, archery, falconry, living history displays, jesters and other Elizabethan pursuits as well as enjoying theatre and early music throughout the weekend.
  • There may be a residential week-end of workshops with trainers from the National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

We do hope that you will come along to the auditions and go on to take part in this year's production of “Twelfth Night”. Tom Hudson and I look forward to seeing you at the auditions.
