Shakespeare at Traquair
perform their annual promenade production in the grounds of
Traquair House, six miles east of Peebles, near Innerleithen.
Shakespeare at Traquair also perform at the Eastgate Theatre
and Arts Centre in Peebles. More detailed maps of both these
venues are available below.
From Peebles
Leave Peebles on the A72 heading eastbound toward Innerleithen.
In Innerleithen turn right onto the B709. In Traquair village,
turn sharp right. The drive to Traquair House is a short distance
further on to your right hand side.
From Galashiels
Exit Galashiels on the A72 heading westwards to Peebles. In
Innerleithen turn left onto the B709. In Traquair village,
turn sharp right on to the B7062. The drive to Traquair House
is a short distance further on to your right hand side.
From Moffat
Head north on the A708 towards Selkirk. At the Gordon Arms
Hotel, turn left towards Innerleithen. In Traquair village
fork left on to the B7062. The drive to Traquair House is
a short distance further on to your right hand side.
From Edinburgh and Glasgow
Head for Peebles using the directions below.
From Edinburgh
Join the A701 and head south through Penicuik to Leadburn
and continue straight ahead on the A703 to Peebles.
From Glasgow
At Junction 6 of the M8 head south on the A73 following signs
to Carluke/ Peebles. In Carluke follow the A721 eastwards
to the A702. Cross over the A702 to join the A72 and continue
on eastwards to Peebles.
From Galashiels
Exit Galashiels on the A72 heading westwards to Peebles.
From Moffat
Head north on the A701. Shortly before reaching Broughton,
turn sharp right onto the B712. At the T-junction with the
A72 turn right and follow the A72 to Peebles.
