Each year since 1995 the group has performed at Traquair House, covering a range of Shakespeare's plays. Together the cast, crew and audience experience Shakespeare in the beautiful grounds of Traquair. During June 2009 we performed Shakespeare's Othello and photographs will shortly be available on our website.

Shakespeare at Traquair is an inclusive group of volunteers. It is open to all age groups, ethnic backgrounds, theatrical experiences, location, politics. Auditions are held in Peebles, Galashiels and Penicuik. The cast and crew usually amount to about 100 people. More about us.

To experience and promote the works of Shakespeare at Traquair House. Through rehearsal, workshop and production, experience all theatre craft in the particularly demanding outdoor promenade media and introduce Shakespeare's language to young people (and old) in a way that is fun and accessible.
