Benedick and friends

Much Ado About Nothing is a light-hearted romp set in Italy, telling the story of Benedict and Beatrice, Claudio and Hero and a raft of other characters. It was last performed by Shakespeare at Traquair 15 years ago, so we’re delighted to be doing it again. Scott Noble, one of the original cast from 2003, will be directing the play. Auditions and workshops have been held and the play has been cast and rehearsals started in late January.

  • Wednesday 30th May to Saturday 2nd June
  • Wednesday 6th June to Saturday 9th June

Tickets are available from the Eastgate Theatre box office (01721 72577) and we recommend that you buy your ticket in advance to avoid the disappointment of not being able to buy a ticket on the night at Traquair House, as we do often sell out.
