The Taming of the Shrew - Young Shakespeare (2013)

Young Shakespeare

Take twenty youngsters, two Shakespeare comedies and an enthusiastic director, bake gently in rehearsal for three months and out comes a mouth-watering evening of entertainment for all ages. A traditional Midsummer Night’s Dream with lovers’ tiffs, rude mechanicals and an extremely overworked fairy is followed by a modern day Taming of the Shrew with a maniacal Kate, a coll Petrucio and a bunch of jobbing actors. Fun, frivolity and a lot of noise.

Petruchio meets Kate and the cast of the theatre
